I’m co-founder and researcher at the non-profit research institution Blockchain Research Lab. My research interests include blockchain technology in general and blockchain-based financial markets, such as Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), stablecoins or non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in particular.
I studied Business Administration at University of Cologne, TU Clausthal and University of Hamburg and am currently pursuing doctoral studies at University of Hamburg.
Against the background that research on the topic of blockchain should be interdisciplinary, I co-founded the non-profit Blockchain Research Lab, which promotes independent science and research on blockchain and the publication of the results in the form of scientific papers and contributions to conferences and other media. As a non-profit organisation, it aims to further the general understanding of the blockchain technology and to analyse resulting challenges, opportunities and socio-economic consequences.
